DA: 'Oilgate, Travelgate ... where's Investigate?' : Mail & Guardian Online

I just read this article at the Mail & Guardian - and it brings to mind the question; why does the ANC have such a large majority and were is the accountablilty?

Let me explain - what I am saying is that when parties have to be truly worried about if they will be voted out in the next election (look at america - almost 50-50 votes) then they make a good effort to do a better job.And by having such a large majority of the nation voting for one party you begin to loose any sort of accountability, as described above.I am not supporting anyone here ;) just making a point ...
